Opening

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Reflection

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.”

John 15.7-9

Today may we, Christ’s body, reflect on the blessings we have received and give thanks for the healing we have prayed for. May our homes, our churches and our community be places of love and healing and may we all be part of a renewal of faith and hope in Edmonton.

Petition

Holy God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we thank you for your loving care and for the healing you have brought to our lives. Help us to continue to trust in you, to  seek your guidance and to be a source of comfort and healing to all around us. We dedicate this novena, our nine days of prayer and praise to your honour and glory. Amen

Closing

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and shall be forever. Amen.
