Our worship

What's it like to worship at St Aldhelm's?

We are a traditional but relaxed sort of church – our Sunday service centres on the Eucharist and we encounter God in the mystery of the sacrament, listen to God’s word in the Bible and pray together in the words of the liturgy. But though our services are traditional we are friendly and informal, our ministers are easy-going and we want you to feel welcome and at home here.

Come on a Sunday at 10am and join us in praising God with hymns and worship songs as we encounter God in the Bible, in the sacrament of the Eucharist and in one another.

Our traditional Sunday service centres on the Eucharist. But while our services are formal they are also relaxed and friendly – come expecting a serious prayerful heart with a joyous and laid-back atmosphere.
